I tried to be festive this year so I posted this drawing around Eagle Rock!

City of Hope
I've been interning as an illustrator at City of Hope, a non profit cancer center. So far its been a pretty good experience. Lately they've been assigning me to draw the buildings on campus.
These were kinda fun. They might be using these as medical diagrams. The first two are parts of the digestive system. The last one.. well to be honest i don't even remember what the last one is.

Tokusatsu
I've been looking a lot at Kaiju and Tokusatsu and have been really inspired by it. I decided to use that as a theme for my scholarship book. As a kid I loved Godzilla and Power Rangers so I've been having a lot of fun using something so nostalgic to me as a subject. I wanted these pieces to just be ridiculous and funny so I created characters that are complete knock offs of Power Rangers, Ultraman, and Godzilla/ Gamera

Sketchbook
So many times people have caught me drawing them and it is always completely awkward. So now I draw the backs of people so they don't see me. I know... it sounds very creepy.

Puppet Show
This was a final done for my publishing class taught by Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson. Really awesome class! I got a lot of help from Ariel and my brother Patrick with this one. Hope you like this ridiculous video. Silence seems to be a common response to this video.
